Cátia Fernandes joined the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Studies in Maritime Law, Portuguese Catholic University.

Cátia Fernandes and Marina Pimenta were speakers at the Webinar “Shipping & Transport Landscape in Portugal”, organized by the digital platform “Mondaq”, which took place on September 7.

Cátia Fernandes participated as speaker, at the Webinar “Maritime Arbitration in the Portuguese Speaking Countries and in the Maritime Silk Road”, organized by the Lusophone Arbitration and Mediation Association (ALAM), which took place on May 24.

CF – Maritime Legal Services sponsored the “Madeira Maritime Week”, which took place from May 15 to 19. Cátia Fernandes represented the firm, taking part in the panel of May 15 on the theme “Strategic Development of the Main Shipping Hubs in Europe” and, on May 16, on the panel about the theme “Shipping Markets: Financing the Maritime Transition”.

Cátia Fernandes and Marina Pimenta are the authors of the Portugal chapter of the guide “Trends & Developments, Shipping 2023”, published by “Chambers and Partners”.

Cátia Fernandes joins the list of Arbitrators of the Lisbon Maritime Arbitration Center (CAM).

Cátia Fernandes participated as speaker at the workshop promoted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on the “General principes of legislative drafting & implementation of convention”, which took place in Ghana from October 31 to November 4, 2022.
