Cátia Fernandes, partner and founder of the firm, has once again consolidated her ranking in the Chambers Europe Guide 2025, keeping her position in Band 1 of Transportation: Shipping, where she has been ranked for 19 consecutive years.

CF – Maritime Legal Services has also strengthened its position, for the second year in a row, maintaining its rank in Band 3 in the same department.

These results represent the firm’s commitment to offering a high-quality services to its customers in the shipping area.

Cátia Fernandes was a speaker at the Seminar “A Sea of Opportunities”, co-organized by WISTA Portugal and the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, which took place on 19 November.

As part of the National Maritime Day (November 16^th) this initiative aimed to promote the sea as a space for job opportunities for young people.

CF - Maritime Legal Services was awarded the “Restructuring Deal of the Year – Vroon” at the twenty-fifth edition of the IFLR Europe Awards 2024, which took place on 24 April in London.

The IFLR awards are the result of a rigorous process of independent analysis, based on the innovation, transversality and complexity of the transactions involved.

This award recognises the excellence of the services provided by the firm in the area of ship finance.
